The Manifesting Power of Gratitude

The great poet Rumi once said, “Gratitude is the wine for the soul. Go on. Get drunk.”

These words resonate with me on a profound level because gratitude, to me, is an intoxicating feeling that fills my heart with warmth, contentment, and a deeper connection to the world around me. It’s a sentiment that enriches my life and opens my eyes to the abundance that surrounds me.

Every morning, as I embark on my Heartmath Inner Balance app session to align my heart and mind in heart coherence, I begin by immersing myself in a profound sense of gratitude. I reflect on how truly blessed I am to be surrounded by loving friends, a caring family, and my soulmate, Brian.

I marvel at the gift of a healthy body that allows me to navigate this world and a comfortable home that provides shelter and security. I savor the fact that I have access to fresh water to quench my thirst and clean air to fill my lungs. In these moments of reflection, I feel like the richest person alive.

But my gratitude doesn’t stop there. I extend it to whatever I am currently manifesting in my life. Why do I do this? It’s because I firmly believe that saying a prayer of gratitude for my desires is akin to acknowledging that in the vast expanse of the Unified Field, what I’ve asked for is already mine. It’s an unwavering trust that the seeds of fulfillment for my desires already exist in the Field; otherwise, I wouldn’t have desired them in the first place.

Conversely, when we resort to prayers of supplication when we beseech God or the Universe to grant us our wishes, we inadvertently acknowledge a sense of lack. This recognition of scarcity, however well-intentioned, tends to perpetuate feelings of insufficiency. It’s like pouring water on the seeds of doubt and inadequacy, causing them to grow.

So, as we navigate the ebb and flow of life’s journey, let us raise our glasses and get drunk on the sweet wine of gratitude. For it is this very elixir that unlocks the door to a life filled with wonders, surprises, and a profound sense of contentment. In gratitude, we find the key to the miracles that surround us every day, waiting patiently to be unveiled and appreciated.

Wishing you love, laughter, and magical kisses.
