There’s No Shortage of Soup (or love or blessings)
How do you envision God, Goddess, the Universe or whatever “divine” being you pray to?
Sometimes when I’m in a goofy mood, and I hear someone tell me what’s not possible for them to manifest, I imagine that “being” is like the “Soup Nazi” on Seinfeld.
Remember him?
He was a cantankerous owner of a soup bar in New York City and when you placed your ordered, if you asked for anything extra or special, he would angrily yell, “No soup for you!”
God/Goddess/Universe is not checking a clipboard deciding what you can and cannot have but when you decide, in advance, what is or isn’t possible for you, it’s YOU that blocks the possibility.
I think one of the hardest things about manifesting is managing our judgmental, critical, untrusting monkey mind.
We have a desire for something and then we come up with a bunch of reasons why it can’t or won’t happen or that we don’t deserve it, or we can’t figure out “how” it will happen, and we end up taking a big stinky dump on our heart’s desire.
After studying and practicing the Law of Attraction for 36 years, I still have days when this becomes an issue for me too.
Here’s my process for busting through my limitations:
- I ask myself “why” I want what I want and if having my desire manifest will really provide me with my desired outcome.
- If the answer is yes, I find a way to feel as if what I have asked for is already mine and I practice experiencing on the internal plane the happiness, joy, satisfaction, etc that achieving this desire is giving me, even in this now moment, even prior to having it manifest in the 3D world.
- I share my goal/desire with my accountability partner along with taking appropriate action steps, to partner with the Universe in making it all happen, giving thanks and gratitude along the way.
This is not a one time, two-minute process but rather a daily practice (sometimes many times a day!).
Finally, it’s important to understand that there is a paradox to the Law of Attraction: While we need to have clarity and intention and action on the one hand, we must also remain surrendered and detached from the outcome, knowing that THIS or something better is on the way to us.
Wishing you love, laughter, and magical kisses,
Arielle
